This September, some 1,500 world class biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices experts will descend on the LITEXPO Conference Center in Vilnius for the Life Sciences Baltics, the only international forum in the Baltic countries that provides a unique opportunity to explore new horizons of partnerships, exchange ideas and seek progress through networking. Around 60 speakers will present their topics at the international forum that is going to be held on September 26-27. The first day of the international forum will feature six sessions on the mechanics of genetic diseases, challenges of immune-oncology treatment, 3D printing in medicine, the role of personalized medicine, digital health. The topics of the second day will include laser applications, stem cells and research as the impulse for the industry. Brian K. Kobilka, the recipient of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on G-protein-coupled receptors, will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Apart from the conference, Life Sciences Baltics 2018 participants will be able to explore an exhibition with around 60 companies from U.S., Germany, Italy, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania; participate in B2B meetings and witness the pitches of invest ready life sciences startups from the Baltic countries.
