Art Therapy Experience: Reconnect with Yourself

Join an art therapy experience led by certified art therapists Remigija Gilė and Jūratė Bukauskienė. Through creativity and guided reflection, you will have the opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and explore your needs, dreams, and personal aspirations.

Art therapy provides a safe and supportive space for self-discovery, emotional exploration, and uncovering inner strengths. No artistic skills or drawing experience are required—the focus is on the creative process rather than the final result. Using colours, shapes, and imagery, participants will explore new perspectives, strengthen their connection with themselves, and create space for reflection, relaxation, and personal insight.

The session will be led by Remigija Gilė, an art therapist, Chair of the Lithuanian Art Therapy Association (LDTA), art therapist at the Republican Vilnius University Hospital, and co-founder of the Art Therapy Space studio. Drawing on extensive experience in healthcare, education, social services, culture, and the arts, she works with adults, adolescents, and children through both individual and group therapy. Her practice incorporates the neuroscience-based Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) model, which uses creative expression to better understand thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.

Co-facilitating the session is Jūratė Bukauskienė, an art therapist and member of the Lithuanian Art Therapy Association (LDTA). She works at the Psychiatry Day Hospital of Šeškinė Polyclinic and runs a private practice at the Art Therapy Space studio, leading both individual and group sessions for adults. With many years of experience in mental healthcare, she supports people in strengthening their emotional well-being and discovering their inner resources.
