When Pleasure Becomes a Trap: Eugenijus Šnipas on the EROS 2025 Presentation Stage

Eugenijus Šnipas is a mentor of sober living and freedom from addictions, as well as the founder of the project “Laisvas Protas” (Free Mind). For many years, he has been helping people discover themselves, break free from addictions, and find a life grounded in awareness and inner peace.

At EROS 2025, Eugenijus will openly address a topic that many tend to avoid — addiction to sex and masturbation. Without shame or moralizing, it will be an honest, human look at desire — one that often hides inner emptiness. The mentor will share his experiences and insights on how to recognize this addiction, understand its impact on our relationships and self-worth, and find the path toward true freedom.

On Saturday, November 22, at 5:30 PM, Eugenijus will take the EROS 2025 4 Hall presentation stage with his talk “When Pleasure Becomes a Prison: Addiction to Sex and Masturbation.” This is an invitation to see pleasure not as a source of shame or guilt, but as an opportunity — to experience consciously, to choose freely, and to live without inner chains.
