Energy efficient technologies: Matchmaking event for Norwegian and Lithuanian companies
DATE: 10-11th of May, 2017
VENUE: LITEXPO Conference Centre, Laisvės pr. 5, Vilnius, Lithuania
Lithuanian Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) together with Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and Innovation Norway invite Lithuanian and Norwegian business companies to participate in Matchmaking event. The event is relevant for companies, developing and applying energy efficient solutions in various engineering industry areas and looking for new ideas as well as partnerships for business development. The matchmaking event will take place during the international exhibition Balttechnika 2017.
Norwegian and Lithuanian companies from these sectors are invited: electronics and electrotechnics; machinery and equipment; metal products; plastic and rubber; optics and optoelectronics.
By participating in the event you will:
- Learn about Lithuanian and Norwegian engineering industry and application of energy efficient solutions in this sector;
- Make connections with advanced Lithuanian companies developing or applying energy efficient technologies;
- Visit modern Lithuanian manufacturing companies, which create and apply energy efficient solutions;
- Take part in the international specialized exhibition Balttechnika 2017 and learn more about manufacturing, innovation and engineering solutions.
The matchmaking event, including B2B meetings, is a great opportunity to establish and develop new business relations with innovative Lithuanian manufacturing and engineering companies, to share ideas and initiate bilateral projects of related sector.
Travel and accommodation expenses for the Norwegian companies will be reimbursed from the Fund of Bilateral Relations under the Green Industry Innovation Programme. 2 representatives per company are welcome to attend.
Conference „Getting Ready for INDUSTRY 4.0: Transformations Needed“
On the occasion of the trade fair Balttechnika 2017, the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and the Engineering Industries Association of Lithuania (LINPRA) will host the 2nd Industry 4.0 Conference. This years’ meeting provides not only first-hand reports of international experts on the newest developments and innovations. It also reports about what happened in Lithuania since the inauguration of a national working group „Industry 4.0“ and the aim to set up an platform for smart production and international cooperation.
Get in touch with other participants out of the field and hear more about European digital competence, centres and innovation hubs, data security and the transformation of labour and education in the digital age. Amongst the speakers are representatives of the European Commission, Lithuanian government authorities and leading international companies and institutes.
In order to ensure a successful participation of Lithuania in the fourth industrial revolution, we are in the process of connecting the different stakeholders in our platform. Our goal is to contribute to the technological progress of companies, increase corporate digital maturity as well as a creative ecosystem and share best practices.
