The Art of Touch – Workshop with Natalja Sorokina (Thalia Hel) from Latvia
A human being is a certain interaction between body and mind. From birth, we communicate with the world through touch. Through it, we transmit a wide range of emotions and feelings—care, love, support, aggression, hatred, indifference. The better we know our own bodies, the more pleasure we can discover within them and share with our partner. One of the best ways to get to know your body’s reactions is through conscious touch.
In this workshop, we will explore touch as a tool for self-discovery, self-regulation, and building connection and intimacy with a partner.
During the workshop, we will discuss:
- Various types of touch;
- How to initiate contact;
- How to learn to feel consent within your own body;
- How to use touch to improve the quality of life and relationships.
This is a practical workshop where participants will experiment with different types of touch and explore sensations using sensory tools such as wheels, feathers, fabrics, chains, candles, and more.
You can come alone and practice on yourself, attend with a partner, or with a group of friends.
On Friday, November 22nd at 9:00 PM, the workshop will be held in the workshop space (Hall 4) and led by Natalja Sorokina (Thalia Hel)—a sexologist, kink trainer, sexual education specialist, event organizer, creator of safe spaces, and holistic BDSM practitioner from Riga, Latvia.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with Natalja Sorokina (Thalia Hel) at her stand in Hall 3 (3.15).

How do we perceive ourselves and others, and how do we build intimate connections? After all, everything is born from our psyche and the acceptance of our body. How do internal processes—mindset, emotions, self-awareness—shape our love for ourselves and our partner? How can various experiences determine our sexual needs and behavior? This presentation opens up the space to understand that sexuality is not just a physical act—it is a powerful internal force that requires us to slow down and consciously observe it. Cuddle Workshop with Audrė Galėckė and Rokas Černauskis
Cuddle Workshop on November 22nd, 8:00 PM, at the Workshop space in Hall 4, we invite you to a playful and experimental setting where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, shift your energy from the mind to sensations and emotions, and open your heart more fully. Through simple and gentle exercises, we’ll encourage you to connect with yourself through another person, to see in others the parts of yourself you may hide, reject, or only recognize in others. We’ll help you recognize your boundaries, express them, and become aware of them in your body. The evening will be spent in silence, focusing on the body and the emotions that arise. Ultimately, we will hug, caress, lie down together, touch, and be touched by others.
We will experiment strictly with platonic touch.
By the end of the evening, participants often feel uplifted, smiles appear on faces, self-worth increases, and people feel needed. This happens because hugging increases serotonin, the happiness hormone.
So, forget celery juice and vitamin C—it might turn out that hugging is one of the best vitamins for your emotional and physical health.
Throughout the evening, these rules will ensure a safe environment:
- We remain fully clothed at all times.
- No sexual interaction (no kissing, no hands under clothes, no intentional touching of the genital area).
- You never have to hug or touch anyone if you don’t want to.
- Always ask for permission before touching anyone, and wait until you hear a clear “YES.”
- If you want something, say “YES.” If you don’t, say “NO.”
- If you’re unsure, say “NO.” “MAYBE” or “I DON’T KNOW” means “NO.”
- You can always change your mind during an exercise and express it.
- You can do exercises with whomever you choose.
- Respect the agreements you have in your relationships, and talk with your partner before attending.
- All emotions are welcome and accepted.
- If you need support, ask the facilitator for help.
- Confidentiality: Speak only about your own experience. Do not mention names or other people’s experiences to keep the space safe.
About Audrė:
Twelve years ago, after the birth of my third child, I went through an existential crisis that led me to begin my spiritual search. I traveled the world for many years, attending various workshops for inspiration and learning. During this time, I completed 500 hours of “Tantra Soul Mate” couples training with Ma Ananda Sarita (USA), completed an Emotional Intelligence Development course, learned Ayurvedic relaxation body rituals, finished “Wheel of Consent” training, became a certified OSHO Active Meditation instructor, completed two levels (L1 and L2) at the International School of Temple Arts (ISTA), and brought the international Cuddle Workshops to Lithuania, where I started leading Hugging Evenings.
We all have desires, but we also have inner blocks that prevent us from expressing and pursuing them. The simple process of identifying and asking for what we want is very vulnerable and delicate, yet it is incredibly freeing and educational. This is the foundation of the Hugging Evening: to ask for what we want within the boundaries of platonic touch. My mission is to bring platonic touch back as a healing tool and an expression of self-love into everyday life, while encouraging deeper self-discovery, ultimately leading to the realization that love comes from within.
About Rokas:
I am Rokas, a coach, tribe facilitator and mentor, and children’s camp leader who left a well-paid job to pursue heart-centered activities. Through my work, I help people recognize their feelings, desires, and find clarity in creating the life they want.
Vipassana meditation courses have had a profound impact on my sensitivity and awareness. Since 2020, I have attended a 10-day silent meditation retreat every year. These experiences strengthened my connection to my body, and I continue to explore movement-based communication through dance and contact improvisation.
I’ve been participating in Audrė’s Hugging Events since 2020, which has greatly expanded my confidence and comfort in expressing my needs, setting boundaries, and engaging in touch. I believe that the need for nurturing touch is fundamental for each of us.

Lecture: The Basics of Pleasure. What You Didn’t Know You Needed to Know. (November 23, Saturday, 6:30 p.m., The Educational Scene, Hall 4)
The ability to feel pleasure is one of the key indicators of good sex and a joyful life. However, we often face challenges in understanding and expressing what brings us pleasure, both within ourselves and in situations with partners. In such cases, even 100 new sex toys, 50 untried positions, and a collection of the sexiest lingerie will be of little value in strengthening your connection with yourself and with your partners.
So let’s get back to the basics – the basics of pleasure, or what you didn’t know you needed to know. In this lecture, you will learn what pleasure is, its types, what pleasure you can experience (short answer: all kinds with practice), and how to start. Most importantly, you will understand that all bodies are worthy and capable of experiencing deep pleasure – yours included.
Playshop: The Basics of Pleasure in Couples. (November 23, Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Workshop Area, Hall 4)
Talking about sexuality and pleasure is one thing; practicing is another. In this playshop for couples, we will briefly discuss the types of pleasure, explore direct pleasure, and practice recognizing and expressing desires and limits both individually and in couples.
In the playshop, you will experience and begin to learn:
- How to notice body sensations.
- How to awaken pleasure through touch.
- How to feel your connection with ‘no’ and ‘yes’ through games.
- How to use a 3-minute game from the Wheel of Consent practice for better and more playful communication.
You will take away:
- Knowledge about your (and your partner’s) body.
- Knowledge about your (and your partner’s) communication.
- The understanding that pleasure is everywhere and can be easily accessible.
- Tools to start noticing what brings pleasure, what you want, and how to express and receive it while respecting others’ boundaries.
- A desire to play more.
No practices are mandatory; you will always have the choice to participate or not. Practices will be conducted fully clothed, without touching erogenous zones.

They will introduce you to BDSM practices, teach, demonstrate, or help you safely and purposefully try out various BDSM activities, such as flogging, rope bondage, or wax play. This is a safe space where you can explore new sensations or delve deeper into BDSM activities that you’ve always wanted to try but didn’t know how. All activities in this space are conducted with your consent, taking into account your desires and boundaries.
You will also have the opportunity to learn more about BDSM nuances in a lecture that will take place on November 23rd (Saturday) at 7:30 PM on the presentation stage in Hall 4.
BDSM – Myths and Stereotypes
During the lecture, the basics of what BDSM is will be presented, and the main aspects of this practice will be examined. The most common myths and stereotypes associated with BDSM will be discussed, and an analysis of why they arise will be provided. The aim of the lecture is to give a deeper understanding of BDSM, reveal the complexity of this practice, and debunk false beliefs to promote an open and informed perspective on the topic.
