During Dr. Akvilė Giniota’s dissertation defense, the phrase was heard: “The lack of conversations about sexuality can be equated to sexual trauma.” The conclusions of the dissertation revealed that many adults feel lonely when it comes to sexuality education and face a lack of involvement from their community, friends, neighbors, colleagues, school, and even family. The silence among adults is one of the main reasons why sexuality education does not happen — even for young people.

With the aim of filling adults’ knowledge gaps and fostering a safe community, sexuality education expert Dr. Akvilė Giniota, together with communications professional Daiva Gylytė, began creating a new podcast about sexual culture, health, psychology, and play.

We all know how important it is to get clear consent — but let’s be honest, for many people it still feels awkward or even a little intimidating. So how do we turn consent into something that feels not just necessary, but natural, safe, exciting — even desirable?

In this talk, sexuality education expert Dr. Akvilė Giniota will share insights, examples, and practical tips on how to build connections where clear consent becomes a seamless and sexy part of intimacy — not a barrier.

Antanas Steponavičius (Witcher) is a member of the Lithuanian BDSM community and an active educator who gives lectures and practical demonstrations focused on the safe and responsible application of BDSM practices. He explores the synergy between pain and pleasure, the importance of communication, and the role of boundaries. His work emphasizes community education, empathy, and sexual awareness.

During the EROS Festival, Antanas Steponavičius (Witcher) will present a talk on BDSM – from theory to practice. We’ll discuss what those four letters really mean, introduce some of the many roles within BDSM, and explore the diversity of practices. Special attention will be given to safety and communication to ensure that the journey into BDSM brings only positive experiences.

Unprisoning the weakness.

Ryhor is the rope artist from Poland, creator of modern shibari community “nawashibelarus”, and co-creator of festival “Shibaripanda Minsk”, performer that is passionate about ropes since 2012 and making his way from traditional bondage to experiments with chaotic shapes and focusing on expression and emotions.
Every performance is a live BDSM session, guided by the flow.

FrauKink (Zoryana) — a trans dominatrix, performer, and educator from Kyiv, now based in Warsaw.
