On 11 October, RETROFORMA will invite all architects, interior designers, decorators and interior enthusiasts to participate at the presentational conference A DAY WITH RETROFORMA. The event will feature the latest Autumn/Winter 2018 fabrics, wallpapers and home accessory collections from DESIGNERS GUILD, RALPH LAUREN, OSBORNE&LITTLE, HARLEQUIN, ZOFFANY, MORRIS&CO and interior décor trendsetters.
The exposition space STORIES OF COLOURS, set up especially for the exhibition, will give all exhibition visitors the chance to see the latest fabrics, wallpapers and colours in different perspectives. The exposition will consist of two spaces resembling a city apartment.
Don’t miss this opportunity to feast your eyes on and purchase the exceptional latest works from well-known foreign talents, on all three days of the exhibition!

Exhibition BALDAI. INTERJERAS. DIZAINAS 2018 competition
After a four year pause it was decided to revive the traditional competition of BALDAI. INTERJERAS. DIZAINAS fair.
Looking back, the furniture fair played a very important role in validating and encouraging the efforts of Lithuanian furniture industry for development their business by means of applying good design and production quality.
The fairgrounds became not only a meeting place for the colleagues, but also an arena for fierce competition. Each year, well established and new products and prospective models were presented, testing and at the same time developing the tastes and preferences of the visitors, potential buyers.
The traditional furniture design competition was very important in this context. Competition awards became first steps into the professional career for many young designers. Furniture companies – large and small – were able to form design driven business structure and strengthen the ability to compete in domestic and foreign markets.
Later, the fair has gradually changed along with the business environment. Large producers concentrated on export markets, their place on the fairgrounds was taken by new, more specialised and more agile companies, which were able to rapidly adapt to developments in local markets and at the same time not willing to compete by the price tag.
Those companies and their people are the ones shaping the future of Lithuanian furniture design today. The revived design competition is dedicated to them. The aim is to create a platform for discovery and publicity of quality solutions in furniture design, to promote the use of good design in the industry and further collaboration with designers, as well as to single out and to draw attention of the general public towards the best furniture design today.
BALDAI. INTERJERAS. DIZAINAS is at the same time tailored for professionals and also very popular among general public. Today, design becomes the decisive factor for the industry and the furniture buyers alike. At the upcoming fair 11-14 October, let us show what we have best and see what the peers have in store, and also get to know the opinion of the international jury and that of the man who just needs a sofa. All this can be achieved by taking part in the design competition!
The competition is already accepting the furniture and interion design elements, which are planned to be exhibited at BALDAI. INTERJERAS. DIZAINAS fairgrounds this October. The submission deadline is 8 October.
Special guest of the exhibition – world-famous furniture manufacturer Edra
