The largest video game expo in the Baltic States, now in its seventh season, is set to be bolder than ever this year – aiming to completely erase the boundaries between virtual and physical realities.
Even the name (GameON) encodes a challenge – the game of bending reality begins! Throughout the weekend at the LITEXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre:
- You’ll be among the first to witness the mind-boggling new technologies applied in the gaming industry;
- You’ll dive between virtual and physical experiences;
- You’ll have the opportunity to meet your favorite game developers, sneak behind the scenes of video game creation, and participate in provocative and intense industry professional conferences and discussions;
- You’ll revel in the rare opportunity to simply be among like-minded individuals – tens of thousands of virtual entertainment fans from around the world and real-life incarnations of extravagant video game characters (Cosplay zone)…
From October 18 to 20, LITEXPO will transform into a massive virtual reality gaming room, divided into several key zones: EXPO, ESPORTS, CONFERENCES, and EVENTS.
EXPO Zone The presentation of top-quality video game innovations is, as always, the core of the event. You’ll have the chance to play a few games yourself, try out the latest VR and MR technologies, watch robot battles, drone races, or meet the most talented video game creators from around the world. Each booth will compete for your attention, provoking and inviting you to try something new.
ESPORTS Zone The sharpest and most adrenaline-pumping area – we were the first to start hosting live ESPORTS tournaments for audiences of thousands, so we definitely know how to create a great vibe! This year, not only professional teams will participate, but also your favorite influencers. Want to see how it all begins and ends? GameON, as we say!
CONFERENCE Zone We will offer three different types of conferences to interest industry professionals, long-time video game fans, educators, or simply those curious about how the entertainment world is created (both real and virtual). To ensure everyone is impressed, this year the event will feature a larger number of influencers than ever before, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and everyday quirks of their work.
EVENTS Zone If we promise to erase all boundaries between realities, it applies to the event format itself. GameON will be something between a good after-party, an all-night game session at a friend’s place, a world-class conference, and high-quality virtual experiences. The highlight of the weekend – the rarely held in Lithuania Cosplay performances – contest. Participants will compete not only in courage and imagination but also in engineering, makeup, art, music, performance art, and directing skills. It will be strange, sharp, and very professional!
