LIL TRACY

LIL TRACY

Good news for fans of trap music – Lil Tracy, one of the brightest stars of the contemporary emo-rap scene, will perform in Vilnius for the first time. On 30 October, he will give a concert at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO.

If you’re under 25, Lil Tracy is probably your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. Basketball player Kevin Durant is a sworn fan of Lil Tracy himself. He has hundreds of millions of plays and is friends with A-listers like Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Tracy’s music has inspired a whole new generation of artists like Lil Lotus and Iann Dior.

Born into a family of musicians – his father Ishmael Butler is a member of Digable Planets and Shabazz Palaces and his mother Coco Clemons is famous for her work with the R&B group SWV – Tracy was surrounded by music from an early age. As a teenager, he ran away from home, sleeping in the woods and on the side of the road to pursue a music career in Los Angeles. He released his first tracks on SoundCloud under the pseudonym Yung Bruh, but later changed it to Lil Tracy.

Tracy’s biggest success came almost a decade ago when he collaborated with the now deceased rapper Lil Peep and the members of GothBoiClique. His and Lil Peep’s “White Tee” was played non-stop on teenagers’ headphones. Lil Tracy’s music is a unique blend of emo, trap, punk and alternative hip-hop, with melancholic lyrics intertwined with melodic beats. Themes of sadness, loneliness, love and the fragility of life are intertwined in the artist’s work, and his distinctive style has helped him stand out from the rest. He has released seven albums in his career and will be launching his latest work, Babyvamp, on 30 October. His latest album “Babyvyvamp” will be presented in Vilnius.

The event starts at 8 pm.
