The first and largest international wine exhibition in the Baltic States, “Vyno dienos”, is celebrating an impressive 20th anniversary this year!
This inspiring event, which was born in the spring of 2005 from the initiative of Arūnas and Rasa Starkai, started its journey as a small festival in the courtyard of the Contemporary Art Centre. Today, “Vyno dienos” has become a cultural phenomenon that inspired the first National Wine Culture Day in Lithuania!
“Vyno dienos” is not just an exhibition, but also a platform for new ideas and traditions. It is where the Wine and Dessert Pairing Contest was born; and unique projects such as wine and music, wine and cinema, and wine and poetry pairing sessions were introduced for the first time in the region, creating a new dimension to the wine experience.
This event not only brings together wine enthusiasts, professionals, and producers, but also fosters an environment where knowledge is shared, cultural horizons are expanded, and community is nurtured.
Every spring, “Vyno dienos” becomes an inspiring phenomenon that invites you to discover, learn, and create – always with a glass of fine wine in hand. Join us and become part of this historic anniversary!
Every year at the exhibition:
- Around 6000 visitors, a third of whom are wine professionals;
